Orion tonight
but all I saw
was the overcast night sky
I tried to rein in
this longing I feel
for something
I'm not sure was even real
I needed to feel
something familiar
but all I felt
was this sudden emptiness
caused by the thought of you
I wanted to bring back
all the memories
that made me glad
but all I have are these
make believe stories with you
I needed too much - I thought
When like a flash of lightning
a realization hits me
That all these needs I feel
come right back to only one thing...
