falling perfectly,
accordingly to plan
before you came in and
turned my whole world
upside down.
You came on to me
like a storm,
crashing down my walls
into nothingness
and oblivion.
You've ruined me.
You demanded for
my surrender.
You smothered me.
You made me gasp
for air to breathe.
And once I accepted
this final defeat,
you returned the breath
that you once took
and filled all those
empty nooks and
crannies inside of me.
