If you saw my post last night about the Princess Bride (and have watched the film) then you probably can understand that I still have some leftover "feels" from then. ;) I miss watching movies like this that aren't complicated but at the same time, not shallow either. I'll just share some of the clips that are quite memorable and made me all gooey and cheesy and laughing out loud. ^o^
Did I just say I *sawooooned* over this? ;) :P
One of the most epic reunion scenes.
"Literally" made me want to roll out of my bed from laughing. :))
"Do not rush me sonny. You rush a miracle man, you get rotten miracles."
"Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya.
You killed my father, prepare to die."
"Your ears you keep and I'll tell you why. So that every shriek of every child at seeing your hideousness will be yours to cherish. Every babe that weeps at your approach, every woman who cries out, "Dear God! What is that thing," will echo in your perfect ears. That is what to the pain means. It means I leave you in anguish, wallowing in freakish misery forever."
Here's to hopelessly wishing that a time would come wherein I could use these lines. :))
And of course...
ehem ehem...
"Since the invention of the kiss,
there have been five kisses that were rated
the most passionate, the most pure.
This one left them all behind."
The End
