Bloomsday

A quarter of a century,
and her feet have been busy
taking her to places
she wanted to be,
to places she didn't think
she should have been.
The journey might not have been easy,
and when it seemed too tiring to move forward,
she just takes a step back,
to take a deep breath,
to see the world from another point of view.
For in the end, she believed
that it'll all still be the same.
That she'll end up to the place,
right where she was supposed to be.
