Winter's End

I stood under the sun,
chasing for the warmth that's been 
eluding me for far too long.
But the frost never did thaw
no matter how long
I stood underneath its rays.
When will this winter end?
If the sun never seem to 
stay long enough
for the warmth
to sink beneath my skin.
