fond of playing games;
of hide and seek
and missed chances.
We are the pegs
on the board skipping
around to do its bidding.
With each roll of the dice
we passed by each other
a couple times,
yet still we never touch.
How many turns
do we have to take
till luck sides with us
and will finally let us
land our feet
on the same square?
